🔧 Tools You'll Need

• T20 Torx screwdriver
• Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
• Wire taps or connectors (included with some kits)
• Electrical tape or heat shrink tubing

⚡ Wiring Guide

The wiring will vary slightly depending on your model year and harness type. Identify your harness type below before connecting.

For models with (2) 2-pin harnesses (one on each side of the wheel)

Stock Wire	Function	Connect To (New Cover)
Left — Black	Ground (–)	Black wire on new cover
Left — White	Signal wire	Red wire on new cover
Right — Yellow	Heat return	Thin red wire on new cover
Right — Green	Heat feed	Thin red wire on new cover

For models with a 4-pin connector

Stock Wire	Function	Connect To (New Cover)
Black	Ground (–)	Black wire on new cover
Yellow	Signal wire	White wire on new cover
Purple	Heat return / neg	Thin red wire on new cover
Gray	Heat feed	Thin red wire on new cover

New Cover Wire Reference

• Thin Red: Temp sensor (Heat feed/return)
• Red: Positive (+)
• Black: Negative (–)
